Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 May 2026
Pitch Pulse 26 ("the App") is built with privacy by default. This policy explains, in plain language, what data the App handles and why.
Who we are
Pitch Pulse 26 is operated by an independent developer based in the United States. Contact: vectorxlabs@gmail.com.
Information we do not collect
- We do not require you to create an account.
- We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
- We do not use the IDFA (Apple's advertising identifier) and do not show advertising in version 1.0.
- We do not embed third-party tracking SDKs (no Firebase, no Facebook SDK, no AppsFlyer, no analytics SDKs).
- We do not access your photos, microphone, calendar, or contacts.
Information we handle
- Live Activity push tokens. When you start a live match on your Lock Screen, iOS generates a push token tied to that activity. The App sends this token to our server so we can deliver score updates. The token is not linked to your identity and is automatically discarded when the match ends or after 8 hours, whichever is sooner.
- Local preferences. Your favorite teams, host cities, and notification toggles are stored on your device only. They are never sent to our server.
- Crash and performance data. If you opt in to share diagnostics with Apple, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash reports with us through Apple's standard developer tools. We do not receive this data unless you opt in via iOS Settings.
How match data is fetched
To protect your IP address, the App never contacts third-party data providers directly. Match data is aggregated server-side and served to you through our caching layer. Your device only ever talks to our server.
Push notifications
Push notifications are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service (APNs). We send only the minimum information required to render a score update on your Lock Screen — typically the home and away score, the match minute, and the match phase. We do not include personal information in the payload.
Data retention
Push tokens are retained for the duration of an active match (maximum 8 hours per Apple's Live Activity limits) and then deleted. Server logs that may contain anonymized request metadata are retained for up to 30 days for debugging.
Children
The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Your rights
Because the App does not store any personal information linked to your identity, there is nothing to access, export, or delete. If you uninstall the App, all local preferences are removed by iOS, and any active push token becomes invalid.
Changes to this policy
If the data we handle ever changes (for example, if a future version introduces an optional account), we will update this policy and bump the date above before that version is released.
